Jason Spicer is Managing Director of DTZ Rockwood and Director of Research. In this capacity Mr. Spicer manages the firm’s property and capital markets research group in support of its transactional, advisory and investment management service lines. Prior to joining DTZ Rockwood, Mr. Spicer was Manager of Investment Strategy & Research for ING Clarion, where he was responsible for production of property market forecasts and related underwriting assumptions for use in valuing both new acquisitions and its existing $12 billion US real estate portfolio. He also created the firm’s proprietary econometric model for forecasting US property sector returns, and wrote topical research on the real estate debt and equity markets. Previously, Mr. Spicer served in a similar capacity as Assistant Director of Research & Analytics in Cushman & Wakefield’s Advisory Group, providing market analysis and consulting services for the firm’s clients, including institutional investors and Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Spicer was a Graduate Fellow at the University of California-Berkeley, and holds B.A. degrees in Economics and Sociology from the Johns Hopkins University. |
