Jason Smith joined the Washington, DC office of NorthMarq Capital, Inc. in 2003 after NorthMarq acquired the mortgage banking division of Legg Mason Real Estate Services (LMRES). Prior to joining NorthMarq Capital he was employed with LMRES’ Investment Advisory Group since 2000 which was recently acquired by Grosvenor. Mr. Smith has 9 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry. He previously worked as an associate with both the Investment Sales Group of Cushman & Wakefield of Washington, DC and the Valuation Services Group of Insignia/ESG in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In 2006 he received his Master of Science degree from the Carey Business School/Edward St. John Department of Real Estate at Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Smith holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Logistics/Transportation from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. |
