Jason Schad is an Associate in Ocean Tomo analytics group, where he provides analysis and support for strategic planning and advisory in the evaluation, organization, and development of intellectual property portfolios. Jason works with the Ocean Tomo PatentRatings® system and other proprietary tools and processes to assist the clients in developing and optimizing their IP portfolios. Mr. Schad and the other members of the Analytics group also assist other internal Ocean Tomo business groups with projects including IP valuation, M&A transactions, and corporate due diligence.
Prior to joining Ocean Tomo, Mr. Schad worked in environmental engineering, focusing on air pollution control. Mr. Schad has also worked as a legal clerk for a variety of law firms and government agencies in Chicago.
Jason received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also obtained a JD from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, where he completed the IP certificate program. Jason is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. |
