Jason Haim joined Island Capital in 2006 as a Vice President in the Investment Banking Group. Mr. Haim is primarily involved in the real estate acquisition activities of Island Capital.
Mr. Haim was formerly General Counsel and Vice President of Monday Properties, an owner and operator of more than 7 million square feet of property in New York City and the Washington, D.C. metro area. Prior to that time, Mr. Haim was a real estate attorney with the New York City law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. While at Fried Frank, he represented a broad range of clients, including tenants, landlords, owners, developers, lenders and institutional investors. He has regularly counseled clients in connection with the acquisition and sale of commercial real estate, financing of commercial loans, and leasing of office and retail space. Throughout his career at Fried Frank, Mr. Haim was involved with the acquisition and financing of over $6 billion of real estate transactions.
Mr. Haim received a J.D. degree from Columbia Law School in 2001, where he served as an editor on the Columbia Business Law Review and received a B.A. degree (cum laude) from Georgetown University in 1998, where he majored in Political Science |
