Jason Barton has recently been appointed Vice President of World-Wide Sales at Segway Inc. Barton has experience leading sales organizations in the U.S., as well as in Europe, and joins Segway from Palm Inc. where he held progressive sales positions during the last four years. Most recently he served as Palm's U.S. enterprise sales director where he led the business, vertical and federal market teams. Prior to working at Palm, he was responsible for global enterprise sales at MCI/WorldCom and directed U.K. sales and marketing for Precor Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of sports and fitness equipment. In his role at Segway, Barton will apply his expertise in building successful and dynamic sales organizations while managing multiple sales channels. He will be responsible for all sales efforts in North America and for the development of sustainable commercial and Government sales businesses.
