Litigation involving oil, gas and other commercial matters is the primary emphasis of Mr. Johanson's practice.While earning a law degree from Tulane University, he was the senior articles editor of Tulane Law Review and was awarded the Faculty Medal, which recognizes the student with the highest cumulative GPA. He also received the John Minor Wisdom Award for academic excellence in legal scholarship. Following graduation and before joining the firm, Mr. Johanson served as a judicial law clerk in the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana.
