Jason M. Kettrick, an associate, joined the firm in 2007. Jason focuses his practice in construction litigation and bankruptcy representation. Jason assists contractors, public and private owners, developers, design professionals, subcontractors and suppliers with the resolution of all types of construction related disputes. His experience includes litigation and claims prosecution on federal, state and private construction contracts, including impact and delay claims, bid protests, cost accounting and lien foreclosure. Jason also represents creditors and debtors in all aspects of Chapter 11, 7 and 13 bankruptcies, including preference and fraudulent transfer litigation, relief from the automatic stay, adequate protection and objections to claims. Prior to Joining Carney Badley Spellman, Jason was an attorney with Winston & Cashatt in Spokane, and a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge John A. Rossmeissl, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Jason is licensed to practice in Washington, Montana, and before the United States Court of Federal Claims.
