Mr. Murray is a partner in the Boise office of Moffatt Thomas. His current practice focuses primarily upon civil litigation, with an emphasis on defense of medical malpractice claims, employment law, personal injury, products liability, and commercial litigation, including collection and eviction proceedings. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Idaho in 1994, and returned to Moscow where he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law in May 2000.Prior to joining Moffatt Thomas, Mr. Murray worked as a legal extern for the Honorable Mikel H. Williams, then the Chief United States Magistrate for the United States District Court, District of Idaho. Formerly, he worked for several years as an associate attorney with a local law firm where he defended private employers, governmental entities and public officials in employment and education matters, in addition to defending clients in both private and commercial construction disputes. His prior experience also includes the defense of design professionals, real estate professionals, and insurance agents in professional malpractice actions. Mr. Murray is experienced in all aspects of trial work and has also handled multiple cases in arbitration.Mr. Murray’s personal interests include golfing, baseball and spending time with his wife and two sons. In addition, he volunteers as counsel representing Court Appointed Special Advocates for the Family Advocate Program, which works to keep abused or neglected children out of danger and in safe homes, while working with parents to build stronger families.Mr. Murray is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of Idaho and the United States District Court for the District of Idaho. He is a member of both Sigma Tau Delta and Phi Delta Phi and the American Inn of Court, No. 130. |
