Experience
Mr. Rheinstein focuses his practice on representing clients on general business matters including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalization. He also assists clients in securing and protecting intellectual property rights. Mr. Rheinstein is currently completing an M.B.A. at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Mr. Rheinstein joined Semmes in April 2007 after serving as a Special Assistant on the staff of Maryland Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. In that role, he advised senior members of the Governor’s staff and worked on several projects aimed at educating the public on important homeland security and emergency management issues. Mr. Rheinstein has also been a lecturer in chemistry at the University of Maryland, College Park. He previously worked as a chemist at the United States Department of Agriculture where he researched development of analytical methods for agrochemicals.
Mr. Rheinstein is a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County and has been active in several organizations. He currently serves as legal counsel to the Republican State Central Committee of Anne Arundel County. Mr. Rheinstein has advised candidates running for office and has volunteered on Republican campaigns at all levels of government since 1994. In his free time, Mr. Rheinstein enjoys a variety of activities including boating, travel, classic cars, and playing chess. He is an avid college sports fan, and is especially enthusiastic about the Terrapins Men’s Basketball Team.
