Jason E. Kuwayama is a member of the Banking and Financial Institutions practice group in the firm's Milwaukee office. Jason focuses his practice on bank mergers and acquisitions, charter applications, bank regulation and compliance, and general securities matters. A native of Brookfield, Wisconsin, Jason attended Northwestern University from which he received a Bachelor of Science in communication with a concentration in argumentation and advocacy. Jason earned his law degree from Marquette University, where he was a teaching assistant for the Legal Writing and Research program and was a member of the law school's Moot Court Executive Board. While in law school, Jason also competed in the National Moot Court competition, was a finalist in the Jenkins Moot Court competition, received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, and was named to the Dean's List. Jason is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and of the American Bar Association.
