Jasmine S. Patel is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Jasmine's practice focuses both on patents and transactional intellectual property, including intellectual property licensing and media and information technology transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Jasmine was a software consultant for Deloitte Consulting, where she designed and developed transaction processing and Internet-based software systems for financial services companies.
In law school, Jasmine served as the president of the South Asian Law Students' Association. Upon graduating, she received the school’s Bar & Gavel Award for outstanding service to the community. Jasmine is an active member of the Indian American Bar Association, where she served as the web manager.
Jasmine received her J.D. degree, with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2006 and her bachelor's degree in computer information systems (with minor in computer science) from Indiana University in 1999.
Jasmine is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. |
