Jasmine A. Majid serves as a director in the Oklahoma City office of Crowe & Dunlevy. Ms. Majid practices primarily in the area of immigration. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Majid served as a managing director for Chisam-Majid Immigration Law & Policy where she managed strategic business development and management for a federal legal practice concentrating on Immigration and Nationality Law. Previously, Mr. Majid worked with the Georgia Department of Human Resources as a Civil Rights Coordinator and as an Immigration and Refugee Director. Ms. Majid is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), Maryland Bar, American Immigration Lawyers Associations (AILA), and American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA). She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) where she serves as a Special Expert Member specializing in workplace diversity. Ms. Majid also serves as the Crowe & Dunlevy representative for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Immigration Policy Committee. Ms. Majid has received the Meritorious Public Service Award from the Department of Justice, Executive Office of Immigration Review. She has negotiated with and provided services to federal and state agencies on multiple occasions and has served as a panelist and guest lecturer at legal bar associations, law schools, conferences and legislative staff offices. She has conducted interviews with CNN, NBC and other media outlets regarding refugee and immigration law issues. |
