Jarvis Tou is currently Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Staccato Communications, an ultra-wideband radio company focused on all-CMOS RFIC solutions. Previously, Mr. Tou was Vice President at Silicon Wave where he oversaw the marketing and launch of second- and third-generation Bluetooth ICs. Mr. Tou also co-founded Intel's Wireless Products Operation where, as managing director, he was responsible for developing and delivering branded personal wireless products. He has held numerous management positions at Intel in the areas of embedded processor, personal connectivity, and mobile phone products. Earlier at Motorola, Mr. Tou held various technical positions in the ASIC Division, BiCMOS technology development, and CMOS manufacturing groups. Mr. Tou holds a BSEE from the University of Michigan, a MSEE Purdue University, and an MBA from Arizona State University. He has authored several papers and holds one patent regarding VLSI design. |
