Jarrod Braxton Bazemore, a partner at Spain & Gillon, attended the University of Alabama where he graduated summa cum laude in 1995 with a major in finance and a minor in Spanish. During his undergraduate studies, Jarrod achieved membership in Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies, was a two-year First Alabama Bank Right Way Scholar, and was awarded the 1995 Alabama Bankers Association Student Achievement Award. Jarrod graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law (J.D.) in 1998, where he was a three-year recipient of the Hugh Reed Jr., Memorial Scholarship, was a member of Alabama Law & Psychology Review and Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society, and sat for two years as Associate Justice on the University of Alabama School of Law Honor Court. Jarrod practices in the area of defense litigation with an emphasis on fraud, bad faith, coverage issues, products liability, workers’ compensation and casualty. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. Jarrod has attained a BV peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Jarrod is a licensed pilot and enjoys flying in his spare time. He also recently co-authored Tales of the Tide, a book about University of Alabama athletics. |
