Janna Morrison is Senior Vice President Customer Care and Technology Services for worldwide lodging franchisor Choice Hotels International (NYSE: CHH) where she is responsible for Choice's focus on customer care and the importance of technology to its franchisees.
In this role Ms. Morrison oversees Choice's global call center operations including customer care group sales and the Choice Privileges service center as well as Choice's property systems support and centralized revenue management. Additionally Morrison acts as liaison to Choice's franchisee associations.
Morrison joined Choice in 1987 and has held a variety of positions in marketing information systems and property systems including senior vice president franchise services where she was responsible for Choice's Franchise Service department and the delivery of value-added and performance-enhancing services to Choice franchisees.
Her key accomplishments include revamping Choice's proprietary property management system Profit Manager; leading the transition from a DOS platform to a Windows platform while avoiding any Y2K issues; and successfully completing an aggressive deployment plan for both Profit Manager and ChoiceLink for Windows.
Prior to joining Choice Morrison served as director of sales for a hotel management company and marketing director for a 300-room Howard Johnson Hotel & Convention Center.
A graduate of Iowa State University she has completed advanced management course work at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and at Stanford University. Ms. Morrison currently is completing her master’s degree in business administration.
