Janine Kilty is Chief Personnel Officer for Carestream Health, Inc., the standalone company that resulted from the sale of Eastman Kodak Company's Health Group to Onex Corporation, Toronto, Canada, in May 2007.
Kilty is responsible for all Human Resources functions for Carestream Health. Formerly, she led the Human Resources organizations for several Kodak businesses, including the Health Group, Health Imaging (predecessor to the Health Group), Document Imaging, Entertainment Imaging and Kodak Professional.
Prior to joining Kodak in 1998, Kilty served as Senior Vice President with Philadelphia's Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. She was responsible not only for the network's Human Resources organization, but also for its Academic Affairs function and for the Einstein Consulting Group, a for-profit subsidiary providing management consulting services to the health care industry in North America. Previously, she was Vice President, Human Resources, for Harvard Community Health Plan (now Harvard Pilgrim Health) in Brookline, Mass.
In addition to her more than 20 years' experience in Human Resources and health care management, Kilty has also worked with a large national labor relations consulting firm. She has written or co-authored articles for publications such as Human Resource Management , Organizational Effectiveness Newsletter and Patient Focus , and has made numerous national presentations dealing with issues of organizational transformation, leadership, and organization and team effectiveness.
Kilty holds a B.A. degree from the University of Illinois, where she graduated cum laude, and a M.Ed. degree from Temple University. She also attended Loyola University's Graduate School of Industrial Relations. |
