Janice Hein is a senior associate in the Pleasanton office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. Ms. Hein represents California public school and college districts in labor relations and employment law matters, including discrimination, unfair labor practices, arbitrations, collective bargaining, contract interpretation, and certificated and classified employee discipline proceedings. She also advises schools and colleges regarding education law issues. Ms. Hein is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. She has a graduate degree in Personnel Management and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. Ms. Hein frequently lectures and speaks on a wide range of issues affecting California public schools. She is a member of the California State Bar and a contributor to The Legal Handbook for California School Administrators, a desk-top reference guide for public school administrators. |
