Janet Steinmayer joined Centerplate as General Counsel of the company in 1993 and has risen through the company until she was named President in February, 2005, a director and Chief Operating Officer in September, and Chief Executive Officer in March, 2006. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Steinmayer served as Senior Vice President, External Affairs and General Counsel for Trans World Airlines and as a partner at a Connecticut-based corporate law firm.
Ms. Steinmayer received a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College.
Ms. Steinmayer is a Trustee of Bryn Mawr College and serves as a member of the boards of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council and the Eagle Hill Southport School.
