Janet L. Villarmia, MBA, is associate director for administration at USC/Norris. She is the chief administrative and financial officer of the Cancer Center and sits on the Executive Committee and Cancer Center Leadership Council. Ms. Villarmia joined USC in 2001 and the USC/Norris in 2007. She is also responsible for maintaining collaborations with the other NCI-designated cancer centers as well as the Cancer Information Service, the American Cancer Society, and other organizations involved in cancer education and outreach. In addition, she is the center's liaison with state and federal legislators on issues impacting cancer research. She is an active member of the Cancer Center Administrators Forum, Society for Research Administrators, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. |
