She joined DuPont in 1976 as a chemist at the Glasgow site. Ms. Waters has held a variety of positions in manufacturing, business, technology and human resources. Seventy percent of her career has been spent leading manufacturing operations, including three plant manager assignments at Glasgow (Del.), Newtown (Conn.), and Fayetteville (N.C.). Following the Fayetteville assignment, she became global operations director for DuPont Fluoroproducts. In January 2004, Ms. Waters was named operations group leader for DuPont Electronic & Communication Technologies. She was appointed to her current position on Dec. 1, 2006.
Ms. Waters was born in New Jersey. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in chemistry. She also holds a degree in biochemistry from Duke University. |
