Ms. Hickey joined the Sprout Group in 1985 as a General Partner and is now a co-managing partner of the group. She previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Venture Investments for the General Electric Investment Corp., which she joined in 1970 and for which she served in a variety of positions, including Trustee of the General Electric Pension Trust for twelve years, and Director of Research and Manager-Pension Trust Equities. Previously, she was a securities analyst at Eastman, Dillon, Union Securities. She is currently a Director of The Edison Project. She has also served as a Director of the National Venture Capital Association and was one of the original inductees of the Private Equity Hall of Fame. She is a Trustee of Mount Holyoke College and participated in General Electric’s Financial Management Program. |
