Jane Thompson is the Managing Director International for IAC. In this capacity she is responsible for overseeing IAC’s global expansion efforts.
Ms. Thompson previously served as Senior Vice President of Global Mergers and Acquisitions and Business Development for Match.com where she led acquisition efforts in China France and Australia. Preceding this she served as Vice President and General Manager of Match.com with full operational and financial responsibilities for the North American business. From November 2003 to November 2005 Ms Thompson was responsible for the Match.com Australia and New Zealand operations before being promoted to Vice President and Managing Director of Match.com Asia Pacific where she led the growth into China Taiwan and Korea.
Prior to joining Match.com Ms. Thompson worked as a Management Consultant at Bain & Company in London. During her tenure at Bain Ms. Thompson was responsible for developing growth and organizational strategies on behalf of a broad portfolio of clients. Ms Thompson has also served as a Strategy Associate with A.T.Kearney and Corporate Finance Executive with investment bank UBS.
Ms. Thompson holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the University of Melbourne and is an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia. |
