Jane Nelson Thomas comes to SeniorBridge with 27 years of clinical nursing experience, including critical care and home care nursing. For 16 years in Detroit, she worked at the Wayne Center, which provides care management for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental retardation, including many senior clients. She also served as Commissioner of the City of Dearborn Commission on Disabilities and was on the board of directors of the Michigan Cancer Foundation. Ms. Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Eastern Michigan University, her nursing diploma from the Henry Ford Hospital and a Master of Science degree in nursing with a geriatric focus from Wayne State University. She is a certified case manager and a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and its Naples chapter. |
