Since joining the firm’s Litigation practice group in 2005, Jane has worked on a variety of complex commercial litigation cases, with special emphasis on healthcare issues and contract disputes. She also assists the litigators in all aspects of the firm’s Appellate practice. Jane has been a paralegal since 1990, working at firms in Washington D.C. and Ann Arbor, Michigan prior to relocating to North Carolina. During her career she has worked on multiple trials and appeals at both the federal and state level, including playing a key role in the trial preparation of one of the largest cases heard before the U.S. Tax Court. Jane has also assisted on briefs filed at the U.S. Supreme Court, the Michigan Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, and the North Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
Jane graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Service and International Politics. She is a member of the Cary YMCA and enjoys running, most sports and photography. |
