Jan Scites, J.D., CLU, ChFC, President and Founder of Scites Associates, brings 30 years of business experience to her consulting practice, Scites Associates. Ms. Scites experience includes technical, legal and general business management roles across several industries.

Prior to founding Scites Associates, Ms. Scites served as a vice president of AT&T. While at AT&T, she was responsible for Internet implementation strategy, as well as positioning Internet/Intranet services for AT&T employees and customers. In addition, she was heavily involved in the implementation of AT&T's broadband strategy. She also managed Business Customer Care which included billing, provisioning, maintenance, and call centers.

Prior to joining AT&T, Ms. Scites held senior management positions at Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company and Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company. For solving critical business problems at Connecticut Mutual, she won the Technology and Innovation Award from Carnegie Mellon and American Management Association. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Overseas Military Sales Corp, Central Vermont Public Service Corporation (CV), and Home Service Solutions. She is a Board Advisor to ERI, GlassHouse Technologies, iSentry, GenPrime and Pendergast Partners LLC. She is also on the Board of Advisors for Electronic Document Storage Foundation (EDSF).

Ms. Scites is a graduate of Ohio University and the University of Connecticut Law School, and is a member of the American, Connecticut and New Jersey Bar Associations.
