Dr. Jan Komtebedde, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, is a veterinary surgeon by training. Jan has over 19 years experience in cardiovascular research, including 8 years of clinical and business experience in the medical device industry. Prior to Evalve, Jan spent over 5 years with Heartport, now a Johnson and Johnson company. The last positions Jan held at Heartport were Director of Business Development and Director of Clinical Research & Development. Before that, Jan owned and managed a Specialty Referral Practice and was a member of the Faculty at the University of Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. Jan holds a D.V.M. from the State University of Utrecht in The Netherlands. |
