As Director of Standards and Interoperability of Blackboard Inc. Jan is responsible for the Blackboard Developer Network, home to the Blackboard Building Blocks and Blackboard PowerLinks programs. The Blackboard Developer Network is a community of more than one thousand client and commercial developers, many of whom collaborate with one another to develop integrations to Blackboard software. Jan also coordinates Blackboard's open source and standards efforts and serves as primary liaison to standards bodies including the IMS and SIFA. Jan received her Bachelor's Degree in Geography from the University of Delaware and her Master's Degree in Geography specializing in Remote Sensing from the University of Maryland. |
