Jan Rutherford has served as Senior Vice President of Sales since November 2007. Mr. Rutherford leads HealthGrades' Provider Sales team, working with the nation's top-performing hospitals as they partner with HealthGrades to build their reputation for high-quality care.
Mr. Rutherford has over 25 years of healthcare experience in a variety of leadership roles in sales, marketing, business development, e-business, product development, product management, training, and government affairs. He has held executive leadership positions in pharmaceuticals, information-based solutions, and pharmacy benefit management with diverse healthcare companies including Thomson, Novartis and predecessors to Sanofi Aventis.
Mr. Rutherford is also on faculty at the University of Colorado Denver Business School in the Bard Center for Entrepreneurship where he developed and teaches "Leadership in New Ventures" to MBA students and Doctor of Nursing Practice candidates.
Prior to his business career, Mr. Rutherford spent six years in the U.S. Army Special Forces as a medic and an 'A' team executive officer, and three years as a military intelligence officer. Mr. Rutherford received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Florida, and M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. |
