Mr. Jarvis has served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer since March 2007. Mr. Jarvis started his career as a clerk for U.S. Federal District Court Judge Howard D. McKibben in Reno, Nev. He also served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney there. Over the past decade, he has served in private practice and also worked as an in-house attorney with several corporations. Mr. Jarvis has served as General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer of InterNetwork, Inc., San Francisco, Calif.; as Executive Vice President Finance, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Spontaneous Technology, Inc., Salt Lake City, Utah; as Chief Litigation Counsel at Iomega Corporation, Roy, Utah; and as Associate Litigation Counsel at MCI Communications, Inc., Washington, D.C. He was also an associate at McKenna & Cuneo LLP (now McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP), in Washington, D.C. Mr. Jarvis received his B.A. in history, cum laude, from Brigham Young University, and his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School. |
