Jamie Goldberg is an attorney in the Firm's Litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation, including employment law and general liability as well as condominium and homeowners association law. She has experience representing various for-profit corporations and not-for-profit corporations in areas relating to Title VII claims based on race, religion, sex, and national origin, ADA claims, ADEA claims, claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act and claims based on various forms of retaliation and housing discrimination. Ms. Goldberg has handled claims with the EEOC, Florida Commission on Human Relations, HUD, and claims brought on the County level from the investigation stage through trial.
Ms. Goldberg earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology with minors in both communication and sociology from The Ohio State University, ranked as one of the nation's top 25 public institutions by U.S. News and World Report, where she graduated magna cum laude, was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and was on the Dean's List every quarter. She then obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law where she was the treasurer of the Legal Medical Society and named in Who's Who of American Law Students.
Ms. Goldberg has been published in Institutes on Real Property and Condominium Law with her article "The 'Woodside' Debate: A Review of Condominium Association Amendment Requirements and Standards; Can Vested Rights Be Altered?" Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Goldberg was Associate Vice President of OLM Financial Group in addition to her tenure with other law firms. She is active in the Florida Bar Mentor Program for Minority Students.
