Jim brings his experience as an entrepreneur in the high technology logistics arena, and as an investor and venture capitalist, to the iSuppli Board of Directors.
He is currently President of his own investment firm, General Partner of a real estate development company and Head Partner of Monterey Bay Partners LLC, a venture capital firm specializing in high technology start-ups. In 1977 he was one of the founders of Skyway Systems, a high technology logistics firm located in Watsonville, California. Skyway was a regular on Inc. magazine|s fastest growing lists for a number of years, and Jim was recognized as an Inc.|s Entrepreneur of the Year in 1993. He worked at IBM designing and marketing computer systems for major airlines and transportation companies in the 1970s.
Jim graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a BS degree in engineering and served as a Navy pilot until 1974 |
