Prior to Ionic Services, Inc., James served as a Board Member at Cenetec. He has over 18 years of Operations and General Management experience in the Fiber Optics and Telecommunications Industries. His entrepreneurial spirit started in 1995 with CIENA Corporation. At CIENA, he was a key part of the management team that scaled CIENA into a major telecommunications player long after CIENA’s successful IPO in 1997. In 1999, he moved to South Florida and joined Qtera Corporation. As Vice President of Operations in a fast moving startup, his contributions in operational readiness led to one of the largest acquisitions in telecommunications history. Integrating the Qtera operational practices into the Nortel Networks model was the final act before joining Cenetec. |
