James So, PRTM’s Asia Managing Director, leads the firm’s continued expansion and high growth in Asia. So has helped many of the world’s leading computer, electronics and pharmaceutical companies to redefine their businesses, create new markets, transform operations, and improve their global capabilities. He has in-depth experience in helping companies increase stakeholder value through business model and operational innovation across the U.S., Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, and India.
So joined the firm in 1992 in California’s Silicon Valley, moved to Tokyo to open PRTM’s first Asia office in 2000, and was a member of the team that guided the growth of PRTM in Asia to include offices in China and India.
So received his MBA degree from INSEAD, an MS degree in biomedical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, and a BA degree in biophysics from the University of California at Berkeley. |
