James Shock joined Calypso® Medical in 2006 with over 20 years of experience in sales in the medical industry and a proven record of success and results. Prior to joining Calypso® Medical, Mr. Shock spent nine years at Varian Oncology Systems, beginning as a district manager and working his way up to the role of senior director of Worldwide Software Sales. During his tenure at Varian he managed in excess of $190 million in annual sales and mobilized more than 25 sales professionals. Prior to joining Varian, Mr. Shock was regional sales manager for Elekta Oncology Systems, Inc. (formerly Philips Medical Systems). Prior to Elekta, he worked in the Middle East as marketing manager for the Arabian Peninsula and regional sales director for Philips Medical Systems, Middle East operations. Mr. Shock has been a design engineer and holds a bachelor of science degree in electronic engineering (Navy) from Southampton University in the United Kingdom. |
