Dr. Sferra specializes in orthopedic surgery at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a member of several organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeon's, Ohio Orthopaedic Society, and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. Dr. Sferra received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Life-Sciences from John Carroll University in 1984 and his M.D. from Medical College of Ohio in 1988 where he ranked first in class. He completed a Surgical Internship and an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin. He has been involved in several grant funded research projects and has given over 95 lectures at various conferences including AAOS annual meetings, AOFAS conferences and NAFAA conferences. Dr Sferra has also had over 25 publications in several journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Foot and Ankle International, American Journal of Orthopedics and Foot and Ankle Clinics. In addition to Dr. Sferra's outstanding involvement in the orthopedic industry, he was named in The Best Doctors in America by Cleveland Magazine in 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006 and named in The Best Doctors in America by Northern Ohio Magazine in 2003. |
