Joined SoarTech as COO in 1998 and became President in 1999, guiding the company through average annual growth rates of over 50%, and expanding its technology base beyond high-level human behavior modeling to intelligent agent applications for command and control, unmanned vehicles, intelligence analysis and training systems. Prior to SoarTech he held founding and executive positions in manufacturing, publishing and technology companies, and worked in venture capital and finance. He was Associate Publisher of a Los Angeles-based multimedia company; Vice President, Operations for an Ann Arbor-based internet applications service provider and web development company; and Executive Publisher of the leading trade publication for professional auto racing, based in Laguna, CA. With a special interest in technology-based entrepreneurship, he is a member of the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute External Advisory Board, National Modeling Analysis Simulation and Training Coalition (NMASTC) board of directors, The Executive Council, AFCEA, NDIA, NTSA, AUSA, and the New Enterprise Forum. He has a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from UCLA. |
