As CEO and Chief Investment Officer for Beacon Investment Company, Jim is responsible for Beacon’s investment processes and personnel as well as the day-to-day operations and overall investment strategies. Jim has 22 years of investment management experience.

Prior to joining Beacon, he founded a fixed income-based hedge fund company, ARB Capital Management, which he has now merged into Telemus/Beacon. Prior to that, he served as Chairman & CEO of Munder Capital Management from 1999-2004. For the previous 12 years he designed, developed and built Munder’s fixed income capabilities as that firm’s Chief Investment Officer.

Jim holds an MBA with honors from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a BBS in Finance and Economics with honors from Wayne State University.
