James A. J. Revels has more than 14 years of experience providing middle market and emerging growth companies from all industries with comprehensive and cost effective accounting assurance, tax, business and financial advisory services. Additionally, Jim provides comprehensive, customized and innovative planning and income tax services for high net worth family groups, professional athletes, senior executives and employees of publicly held and private corporations and closely held business entities. Jim was a former Senior Manager in KPMG‘s Mid-Atlantic practice. He provided income tax and planning services for over seven years, including retirement planning, stock option exercise strategies, as well as estate, post-mortem estate and income tax planning consultations for high net worth individuals. In addition, he managed the Pennsylvania Investment Advisory Services Division of KPMG focusing on plan design, asset allocation strategies and money manager review. He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Philadelphia and Montgomery County Estate Planning Counsels. He is a contributing author to the Pennsylvania Tax Handbook 2003 edition published by American Lawyer Media. He has successfully passed the Series 65 exam and has been the guest speaker at multiple functions for various financial societies as well as participating in the KYW News Radio "Ask the Tax Professional" call-in radio show. He is acting CFO for a Bio-Tech startup set to cure Diabetes. Jim has a Master’s of Science degree in Taxation from Villanova University and he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Business and Marketing. |
