As Cygnus Business Media's Chief Financial Officer, Jim Ogle oversees day-to-day financial operations of the company. Ogle has a strong track record in developing and executing successful growth strategies in interactive, print and expo. Prior to joining Cygnus, Ogle was a key member on the team involved in the recent Penton Media merger. A certified public accountant, he has worked in finance and accounting for more than a decade. Ogle joined Penton in 2001, where he served in various roles overseeing financial strategies for the company's successful Electronics Group and Technology & Lifestyle Division. In June 2004, he was named corporate director of finance. Prior to joining Penton, Ogle spent two years as controller of Sharemax, a procurement firm, and assistant controller at Federal Business Products, a business form manufacturer/direct mailer for six years. |
