Professional geologist with 17 years experience in the mining sector, specializing in exploration for and discovery of precious metal deposits.
B.Sc. Geology (Honours) degree, University of Waterloo ON, 1988.
From 1988 to 1992, worked with junior and major companies exploring for precious and base metal deposits in northern Ontario, Nunavut, and the Iskut River area of northern B.C.
Joined Canarc Resource Corp. in 1993 as Project Geologist for the New Polaris Property and numerous gold exploration projects in Venezuela.
Between 1995 and 1999, evaluated and managed precious metal exploration projects for Homestake Canada Inc. at the Snip Mine property and near the Eskay Creek Mine in the Iskut River area of northwestern BC.
Served as Director of Information for the British Columbia &Yukon Chamber of Mines, managing database, communications, and education programs until 2002.
Returned to Canarc and Endeavour Silver Corp. in 2002 to manage property evaluations, exploration programs, and computer applications for projects across the Americas. |
