Jim Mongiello has a track record for investing and managing successful networking companies. As a venture partner with Redpoint Ventures and Brentwood Venture Capital, Jim worked closely with a variety of portfolio companies, including TransMedia (acquired by Cisco), Freegate, Lightera (acquired by Ciena), and Vivace (acquired by Tellabs). Prior to entering the venture business, Jim was President and CEO of OnStream Networks, which was sold to 3Com for $254 million in 1996. Before that, Jim was President and CEO of Larscom. Over the last 31 years, Jim has been involved with creating some of the most successful WAN products used in networks today. He attended Lowell University and completed the Executive M.B.A. program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. |
