James Kalmer provides underwriting and claims expertise to develop appropriate strategies and procedures to achieve bottom-line mortality and morbidity objectives. He also trains CHCS Services personnel in the underwriting and claims areas. The first 31 years of Mr. Kalmer's career were spent at The Equitable Life Insurance Company in New York where he held various management positions, including Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer. In 1996 he joined PennCorp Financial as Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer, where he provided underwriting and claims oversight for the family of companies that made up PennCorp Financial. Mr. Kalmer is a graduate of Saint Vincent College with a Bachelor's degree in economics and he holds an MBA from New York University. |
