Dr. Hamilton joined Pixel in 2005 as the chief scientist of medical imaging programs. Dr. Hamilton provides technical leadership in identifying advanced research opportunities for Pixel Velocity's image processing technologies. He has been developing state of the art imaging systems for the medical, defense and scientific communities for the past 14 years. Prior to joining Pixel Velocity, Dr. Hamilton worked in the GE Medical Systems ultrasound group, working on next generation blood flow imaging and image quality enhancements, and at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems where he developed wavefront sensing techniques for electro-optic systems and image restoration algorithms for radar and optical imagery. He holds a B.S. degree from the University of Rochester, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan. He has authored numerous journal publications and holds four patents. |
