James Fuller has been a partner at Fenwick & West LLP since 1978 and leads the firm’s tax practice group. International Tax Review has named Mr. Fuller the top tax advisor in the western U.S. 10 years in a row (1994 - 2003), and Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Best of the Best has three times selected him as one of the world’s top 25 tax advisors. Mr. Fuller is also listed in Woodward White’s Best Lawyers in America. He writes a widely read monthly column in Tax Notes International and serves on numerous advisory and editorial advisory boards. He taught international tax at Stanford University Law School, and is former chairman of the American Bar Association’s Foreign Tax Credit, Section 482, and Foreign Currency Subcommittees. Mr. Fuller earned a BS from New York University, a JD from Fordham University, and an LLM in taxation from New York University.
