As managing director of the Asia Pacific region for Interactive Data, James Farrer is responsible for activity associated with the Company’s businesses across Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore and Australia. His role includes responsibility for leading Asia Pacific strategic planning and relationships, sales & marketing, client service, IT and network, content development and sourcing, product development and financial management. Farrer served as managing director for FT Interactive Data Asia Pacific before assuming management responsibility for all of the Company’s businesses in this region in November 2004.
Prior to joining FT Interactive Data 19 years ago, Mr. Farrer had extensive business experience in large scale international commodities trading in Asia, the Middle East, the U.S.A. and Eastern Europe. |
