James F. Dowd (Jim) joined Mellon 1st Business Bank in April 2006. He oversees all credit related activities including credit approval, credit policy, asset-based lending and loan servicing. He is a member of the Executive Management Team as well as a member of the Senior Management Committee.Prior to joining Mellon 1st Business Bank, Jim worked for City National Bank for 15 years in a variety of credit related roles, culminating in his position as Deputy Chief Credit Officer. Prior to that he held management positions at First Interstate Bank, 1st Business Bank, Union Bank and Crocker Bank.Jim received his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Davis, and his MBA in Finance from the University of Washington. He is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. Jim and his wife Liz, reside in La Canada-Flintridge, CA. |
