Jim Diller joined the Intersil Board of Directors following the acquisition of Elantec Semiconductor in May 2002. Mr. Diller was a Director of Elantec since 1986 and was Chairman of the Board of Elantec from 1997 to 2002. He served as Elantec’s President and Chief Executive Officer from November 1998 to July 2000. Mr. Diller is a founder of PMC-Sierra Inc. and was its President and Chief Executive Officer from 1983 to 1997; he is currently Vice Chairman of the Board. Mr. Diller was formerly a director of Sierra Wireless a provider of wireless data communications hardware and software products. In addition Mr. Diller serves on the board of several privately held companies. Mr. Diller holds a B.S. degree in physics from the University of Rhode Island. |
