Mr. Baird established the Asset Management Group of PMG Capital in March of 1994. The team joined Emerging Growth Equities in July 2001. Previously, Mr. Baird was a branch manager and registered investment advisor with Prudential Securities for nine years, overseeing an office that managed approximately $1.3 billion in assets for 12,000 clients and employed 55 people. His 25 years of experience in the industry also includes work at Merrill Lynch and Salomon Brothers. Jim is a member of SEI's Select Advisor Council which is composed of the top advisory practices from the United States, Cananda and the United Kingdom. He is also one of 15 advisors that has been chosen for SEI's Investment Selection Advisory Board which acts as an interface between SEI's investment research group and the independent advisorsthat SEI services. Jim graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University in 1976 and also attended the Wharton Graduate School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is an elder at New Life Presbyterian Church in Dresher, Pennsylvania, and he and his wife Pam are actively involved in volunteer work with a number of non-profit organizations. They live with their four children in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. |
