James W. Jarrett is vice president of Legal and Government Affairs and director of Worldwide Government Affairs for Intel Corporation. Prior to his current position, Jarrett was president of Intel China Ltd., based in Beijing 1996-2000.
Jarrett joined Intel in 1979 as the company's first manager of corporate communications, and was named a vice president in 1987. From 1994-96 he served as vice president of investor relations.
Prior to Intel, he worked for two New York-based communications counseling firms, and served with the U.S. Army at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, New York. He is a graduate of Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio.
He is a Director of the National Association of Manufacturers and the United States Information Technology Office (Beijing, China). |
