James W. Zug,has been a director of Amkor since January 2003. Mr. Zug retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2000 following a 36-year career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Coopers & Lybrand, both public accounting firms. From 1998 until his retirement, Mr. Zug was Global Leader Global Deployment for PricewaterhouseCoopers. From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Zug was Managing Director International for Coopers & Lybrand. He also served as the audit partner for a number of public companies over his career. PricewaterhouseCoopers is Amkor’s independent registered public accounting firm; however, Mr. Zug was not involved with servicing Amkor during his tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Zug serves on the board of directors of Allianz Funds, the Brandywine Group of mutual funds and Teleflex, Inc. Mr. Zug served on the board of directors of SPS Technologies, Inc.and Stackpole Ltd. prior to the sale of both of these companies in 2003. |
